How to Get to Maeklong Railway Market from Bangkok

As we wanted to visit the other places nearby Maeklong Railway Market, we decided to hire a taxi for a day and it cost 2,000 THB. Our hotel helped us with that, so we can get a driver who understands English. The ride takes a little over one hour, depending on traffic.

We left Bangkok at 9.30am and arrived at the Maeklong Railway Market ahead of time.

You can also get to Maeklong Railway Market via public transport. Based solely on our research from the internet, you can take the train from Wonwian Yai Railway Station, get off at Mahachai Station. Then, take a ferry to Tha Chalom side and catch the train from Ban Laem Station to Mae Klong, which is the last station.
